Lindsay Whelan, Wyoming native, has lived in many different areas of the west including Montana, California, and Washington before recently moving to Las Vegas. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in percussion performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. David Merkel received his early musical training in his hometown of Huron, South Dakota; with twelve years of formal piano education while growing up, and concurrent four years of church pipe organ training, including at St. Olaf in Minnesota. Dave’s musical experience includes an early career as a professional musician on tour, including piano bars and keyboardist for various concerts. In the past decade his concert performances in Montana have raised well over $60,000 for various local and area charitable organizations. Music followed him into ministry and informs his theology; Dave continues to provide music and worship leadership for conferences and special worship settings, as well as composing, arranging, recording and orchestrating. His former on-air broadcasting career led to his continuation of providing voiceovers for marketing and video narration. A local pastor trained at Iliff and Garrett seminaries, Dave is currently under appointment as pastor at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Billings, Montana; his third appointment in ministry.
