Glenn L. Bailey has been the Executive Director of Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake City since 1992. Crossroads is a National Mission Institution of the United Methodist Church. Glenn is a community organizer who began his career doing neighborhood organizing as a US-2 United Methodist missionary in Oklahoma City through Neighborhood Services Organization. He also worked in Chicago as the Executive Director of the Southwest Community Congress, where much of his work focused on issues involving racial tension in working class and low income neighborhoods. Over the past 30 plus years, he has served as an anti-hunger advocate, an activist in disability rights movement, and an advocate for the civil rights of the homeless. Mr. Bailey has a B.A. from Kalamazoo College in Michigan.
