Ronda Cordill has served as the Western Jurisdiction United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM)Coordinator since March of 2016. Prior to that, she served as the Annual Conference UMVIM Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Conference for more than 8 years. She was trained as a registered nurse focusing on pediatrics and infection prevention and has a master’s degrees in public health and a second in adult education. Ronda has served in several local and international missions including Mexico, Haiti, and India. Part of her Volunteer in Mission work she has been part of the Diabetes Program with Ganta Hospital in Liberia (West Africa) obtaining two grants from the World Diabetes Foundation to support that work. Over the past 5 years she has worked with the Disaster Response effort with UMCOR. Ronda’s focus is to educate and equip volunteers to empower their partnership through service in mission where ever they might be called.
