Daryl Junes Joe


Daryl, a citizen of the Navajo Nation, resides on reservation lands in Shiprock, New Mexico. She is a retired tribal prosecutor, married to a retired tribal police officer. They have two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A graduate of a boarding school, Daryl attended an east coast college before returning home to serve the Navajo Nation. She continues to be active in justice and mercy agencies, e.g., Board of Directors for Four Corners Native American Ministry that serves most of the Navajo Nation; board member of United Methodist Center New Beginnings, a National Mission Institution in Farmington, NM; and is a Director of United Methodist Women, representing the New Mexico Conference and Southcentral Jurisdiction.
